Benedict Kocot

(born April 11, 1954 in Chrząstowicach near Opole) - Polish cyclist. Winner of a bronze medal at the Ol ympics in Munich in 1972 in tandem (along with Andrew Beki). Bron ze medal world championships in Montreal in 1974 in tandem (with barrels), a gold in Monteroni di Lecce in 1976 in tandem (along with Janusz Kotlińskim). Five-time Polish champion in sprint (1972, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1980), three-time runner: the sprint (1975), 1 km standing start (1972, 1976) and twice won a bronze medal of the Polish Championships: the sprint (1978) and the 1 km standing start (1974).
